We Believe! ‘Tis the season of miracle

We Believe! ‘Tis the season of miracle

Tuesday, December 21 is the winter solstice. We will sit down to dinner in the dark of night. People all over the world light candles against the dark, knowing the next day brings just a little more light than the one before. December is full of miracles and full of light; the darkest day is followed by dawn, new beginning, springtime and hope. During the waning weeks of the year, we light the candles of Advent, Hannukah and Kwanzaa, string lights on our Christmas trees and on our homes; light being the symbol of faith and goodwill the world over. We believe!

We are in awe of the Season; inspired by the light of the world to be the light in the world. December has been named “The Month of Giving”; we wrap gifts for those we love, inspired by the Magi and the magic of the season. Last year, Americans gave over $400 Billion to charity, and one third was given during the month of December, creating miracles in the lives of so many.

Since 2012, the season of giving season kicks off on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—this year November 30—a global movement of generosity to bring light into the darkness. What a great way to start December and the season of miracles! We believe!

From our homes to yours, we at Cutlery Couture wish you a very Merry Christmas, the happiest of holidays and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
